If you’re not a Parks and Recreation devotee, then you have no freakin’ idea why I called the beautiful Rashida Jones that. Well, I feel bad for you. Turn on Netflix and get that done! If you haven’t seen Ron Swanson, then...well, I just can’t fathom how you’re still existing. Anyhoos, An- Jones was in Tokyo for the Japanese press tour of her film Celeste & Jesse Forever, also starring Andy Samberg and Elijah Wood. Jones also co-wrote the script with Will McCormack. Jones tweeted a photo of herself enjoying the cherry blossoms in Tokyo. There’s nothing like seeing the Japanese cherry blossoms in bloom and there’s many places throughout the city that offer some prime viewing spots. Cherry blossom viewing is known as hanami, and the best time for this is usually in late March and early April. While some parks are free, other places, like Shinjuku Gyoen, require a slight fee (200 yen). Parks that require admission are less crowded, and much more peaceful and calmer. One of the best public city parks to visit is Inokashira Park, that is home to a large pond surrounded by 500 cherry trees! The trees offer great shade for picnicking and hanami parties, and you can also rent rowboats and paddle boats. While the best time to see the pedals fall at Inokashira is late March and early April, the park has other attractions to visit year round. There’s a petting zoo and aquarium, as well as the famed Ghibli Museum. 

But don’t hate on her just yet; anyone has the same option to skip those annoying lines. Read and find out! The host of Sweden’s Next Top Model, Caroline Winberg, took a break from the runway to have some thrills at Six Flags Magic Mountain, in Los Angeles. Winberg posted a bunch of pictures from her fun-filled day to her Instagram. The Swedish model and her friends made sure to purchase THE FLASH Pass, a virtual ride reservation system. This tamagotchi-looking electronic lets you know when it’s your turn to ride, without you waiting in line! There’s three different types of THE FLASH Pass, ranging from $45 to $105 per day. With the regular pass, you still have to wait the same amount of time that regular riders must wait, but you don’t have to physically stand in line! You can go eat or shop or whatever, until it’s your time to ride! Winberg and her friends opted for the platinum pass, which gives you the shortest waiting time and allows you to ride TWICE. Yup, twice. Winberg also posted a shot of her on the famed Goliath coaster, that boats a near vertical first drop, not to mention a bunch of other zero-gravity twists, turns and drops.

Amongst the many tried and true expressions in our wonderful language, few ring truer than this; the classics never die. And while other celebrities showed up all over the world, tanning on beaches or what have you, young Sara Paxton opted for the epitome of the classic American vacation. Sara Paxton went to Disneyland. Which of course is decidedly better than, say, a cabin beside a shark-infested lake. Yeeeeeah. Well, there really is no better place than Disneyland to try to forget about Shark Night 3D. And while it’s incredibly easy – and somewhat redundant – to talk about the park itself, there is something to be said about the Disneyland Resort itself. When it comes to guest services, Disney is pretty much second to none. The resort grounds are kept in absolutely pristine condition, painted with beautiful and well-kept greenery, as are the buildings themselves. There are accommodations for every budget, though this admittedly applies more to their sister grounds in Orlando, and each of them are kept to the highest standard of cleanliness and care. Truth be told, folks looking to stay for only a few days would enjoy their time in one of the value hotels just as much as anywhere else – of course, if you’re staying for longer, one must indulge in the premium hotels. Each hotel offers a shuttle service to all of the parks (or simply both, in Disneyland) that run every twenty minutes, and some of the parks will even stay open exclusively for resort guests, on occasion. In truth, there is simply no better way to enjoy a Disney vacation than with a stay on the Disney Resort grounds.

Swedish model Caroline Winberg flew over 30 hours to reach her final destination of Acapulco, along the Pacific coast of Mexico. Ah, the life of a supermodel. Winberg uploaded a bunch of gorgeous shots to her Instagram page of “today’s office”. Winberg made sure to work on her tan before the shoot at her hotel, and was even joined by British model, Ollie Edwards. The Victoria’s Secret model enjoyed the beauty of Acapulco at her hotel, Las Brisas. Your first taste of Las Brisas will taste mysteriously like a pink, frozen margarita. Possibly because that is what awaits you in the reception area. Next, you’ll be whisked away to your room, via pink and white jeeps. Think Jurassic Park without one main aspect. You’ve probably begun to figure out that pink and white is the colors of Las Brisas. The resort is set into the hillside, on 40 acres filled with lush hibiscus gardens. The resort looks out over Acapulco Bay and features the private La Concha Beach Club, with its famous tide pool. The resort was built in 1957, but has since been remodeled with 263 bungalow-style accommodations. Some special highlights of Las Brisas is its two saltwater pools, as well as a freshwater pool. While a complimentary continental breakfast is delivered to your casita everyday, there’s also the acclaimed Bellavista Restaurant. Las Brisas has been named the Best Resort for a Honeymoon or Romance Vacation in Mexico, and you need only look at pictures of the hotel to understand.
